NZ A very nice place to live, mostly. Aotearoa. Land of the Long White Cloud. Sean & Libby are based in central Auckland, after running out of money on a world tour. Nearly five years later, we are still here.
In the first year, we had intended to move on after 6-9 months and eventually return to the UK. Things did not quite work that way. In the first year, we travelled around both islands, seeing as many places as we could. But having established a foothold, with a reasonable flat and good jobs, there seemed less reason to return. Apart from missing family and friends, the quality of life is very high, the country still relatively clean and open.
