Why make a kisby website? The reasons are simple: to share some of our experiences with colleagues, friends and family. If anyone else looks at it, including other kisbys, that is a bonus. Let me know what you think! Email Sean

Caution! This site is under construction. It will never be complete. So please make sure you are wearing a hard hat, flourescent jacket and steel capped boots. Beware gaping holes, missing links and frustration. Enjoy the view and the lack of adverts.

Web 'master' & Copyright; Sean Kisby, Auckland, New Zealand. No responsility is accepted for the content of other websites linked to this one.

Format: You will have noticed that the site is simple in format. That makes it simpler to make, and hopefully, simpler to read. Especially for those older members of the family who are not regular users of the internet. Lets face it, you and I are very lucky; most of the people on this planet have no access to the internet, or for that matter, basic stuff like clean water.

Computing; This site is edited through PCs running IE 5.5 or 6, but looks better with Mac OS X running Safari. - Mac OS 9 however, does not support the latest browsers, and the drop-down menus get a bit scrambled as a result. Sorry! This site has not been designed to be viewed on a mobile phone.

Webspace; Rented from an American company called Network Solutions, complete with "ImageCafe website creator" software. Allows website editing through any (recent) browser on any of the usual computing platforms. (This is not an advert.) This facility costs money and takes time. The sense of power over such a minute corner of cyberspace...!

Photography; Sean Kisby, if not otherwise indicated. A variety of devices were and are used to capture and manipulate these images. The current favorites are:
Chemical: Minolta 7000 (C.1984) analogue camera system with a variety of lenses, filters and film types. These were inherited from my late father, but I have since added some equipment from second-hand sources such as ebay and trademe. The negatives are usually scanned to CD by the company that processes my film, with varing sucess. Some have hi-res scanners built into their processing machinery. Others use a bored junior employee with no gloves and a dusty old flatbed scanner. Particularly in Perth, Australia...
Digital: Pentax Optio 33WR (C.2004) 3.2 Mp weather and sand resistant camera, with no additional lenses or filters. Very handy on the beach or the bike.

Language; UK English. Syntax and spelling errors are my own.

This page is under constuction.
